2. The Packing Shed, Bickley
Nestled in the Lawnbrook winery, The Packing Shed is where we enjoy great food and draw inspiration for our farmhouse designs. Its beautiful setting is a glimpse into the lifestyle we envision for our clients.In colder months, cosy up beside a wood heater, or in summer, sprawl out on the lawn with a picnic blanket. A wine tasting experience often becomes the unplanned highlight of the visit.
3. Little Nook Cafe, Darlington
The Little Nook Cafe is our favourite spot to unwind. Its diverse menu and cosy verandah cater to different tastes, much like our approach to custom home building.
4. Hidden Specialty Coffee, Kelmscott
A top choice when scouting new sites, Hidden Specialty Coffee offers excellent coffee and a hearty menu, keeping us energised during busy days. Its coffee rivals the best in Perth, complemented by a fulfilling breakfast menu. It’s an ideal stop on your way to Araluen.
5. The Hive Darlington
Housed in a historic building, once a general store and post office, The Hive Darlington is more than a café. Now under the Bell Family, it’s a community hub offering nutritious, home-cooked meals. It’s a place to connect with the neighbourhood over a great meal or coffee.
6. Jack & Jill, Kalamunda
Previously part of the Haynes Street Larder, Jack & Jill, established by Jess Balfour, offers a spacious interior for a relaxing brunch. Their menu is a delightful balance of healthy options and indulgent treats like enormous fried chicken burgers.
